I'm not sure if it was the people in Congress making all the noise, or the main stream media, or the actual tax-paying citizens of the United States. Whoever it was, there certainly was a lot of ruckus when AIG shelled out $165 million in bonuses to employees. The House has gone as far as to write laws which target these bonuses and tax them at a 90% tax rate.

But why is it that when Barny Frank's Fannie Mae hands out $210 Million of the taxpayer's money, nobody says a peep?

The problem isn't limited to Democrats or Republicans. The entire Government is loaded with a bunch of thugs.
